Welcome to Istanbul, where you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Tonight, meet your guide and the rest of your group.

Sunday 22nd April

After breakfast, you enjoy a fully guided tour of the only city to span two continents, visiting the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sofya, Topkapi Palace and the Hippodrome. Carpet weaving has long traditions in Turkey and today we also have the chance to learn how the carpets are made by hand and what determines their value. Tonight you get to know your travelling companions a little better and enjoy some Turkish cuisine at your welcome dinner.

Day 3
Monday 23rd April

Depart for the Gallipoli peninsula early morning and tour this now serene site. Visiting original trenches and tunnels and ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial, Johnston's Jolly and The Nek before a short ferry ride across the Dardanelles.

Day 4
Tuesday 24th April

Today we spend the morning at the southern tip of the Gallipoli peninsula at the International Service at the Turkish memorial, Mehmetcik Abide, and then the Commonwealth service at the British memorial. We then head back across the Dardanelles and visit the archaeological ruins of Troy. Your afternoon is free to explore or rest prior to an 11 pm departure for ANZAC Cove.

Day 5
Wednesday 25th April
ANZAC Day at Gallipoli

At the ANZAC Dawn Service we will commemorate our fallen forefathers on this special day. We also attend the Australian &/or New Zealand Memorial services before returning to our hotel for some well deserved rest.

Day 6
Thursday 26th April
Pergamum, Kusadasi
Today we head south along the Aegean coast and on the way we enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent acropolis of the ancient city of Pergamum.

Day 7
Friday 27th April

Visit Ephesus, one of the world’s best-preserved ancient sites and the House of Virgin Mary. Turkey produces some of the finest leather goods in the world and many are made here before branding in Italy. We finish the day with a leather goods presentation before a short drive to Izmir for a flight to Istanbul. Transfer to Istanbul hotel on arrival.
